About Mama Martini

Mama Martini is a Maine based drag queen living in Portland Maine. Mama began her drag journey in 2017 while attending The University of Maine. Mama's career started with a bang by competing and being crowned Miss UMaine 2018. Mama is no stranger to the stage, with an extensive dance background which includes several international and world championship competitions. Mama has been involved with organizations such as Drag Out The Vote; a nationwide campaign aimed at motivating LGBTQIA+ individuals to go out and vote in local and national elections. Since moving to Portland she has been invited to join the legendary Haus of Dior.

Mama uses drag as an outlet to spread queer love and acceptance; while acknowledging, processing, and healing from pain. She is a manifestation of self-love and healing. Mama is the person you give your pain to, a shoulder you can cry on, and will always be there to guide you. She allows you to access the strength you didn’t know you had inside of you to make your wildest dreams a reality. Mama’s goal is to educate the ignorant and open their eyes to the reality that we are all human and we all deserve respect, equality, and the right to be our true selves.
